Advancing Community Health

Through use of advanced data analytics, proven new technologies and AI, we believe actionable insights can be extracted from vast healthcare datasets. This will all help to identify high-risk scenarios, predict potential outbreaks and develop interventions for maximum efficacy. Post hospital discharge, our focus extends to personalised monitoring for high-risk patients, reducing infections and overall hospitalisations. By ensuring transparency, we believe in empowering patients and incentivising healthcare providers to uphold the highest standards of infection control.

Continuous Measurement, Monitoring, and Reporting

Employing cutting-edge technology, we ensure the continuous surveillance and reporting of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) data, enabling proactive interventions and improving patient outcomes.

Data Mining/Use of AI and Local Research

Utilising data mining and Artificial Intelligence we can undertake research into individual risk factors for HAIs in Australia. Helping the healthcare system to implement the most targeted preventative measures available.

Promoting Evidence- Based Best Practices

Our research will include the analysis of evidence-based best practices and the use of proven technologies. Aiming to significantly reduce both the risk and incidence of HAIs, fostering a safer healthcare environment for all.

AI-Assisted Surveillance for Specialists

Through effective use of Artificial intelligence there is an ability to help streamline the surveillance processes. Allowing more time for Infectious Disease specialists to be focused on crucial interventions. Helping ensure we have the most efficient and well informed clinicians, leading to more educated patients and improved patient care.

Risk Profiling of Patients Undergoing Elective Procedures

The use of data analytics to undertake risk profiling of patients undergoing elective procedures. Research into potential use of monitoring technologies for earlier intervention when inflammation/infections do occur. Early intervention can help minimise the risk of serious illness and death from HAIs.

Identifying Best Practice Institutions

Our research will involve an in-depth understanding of the patient and environmental data within healthcare institutions. Collaborating with other research organisations to better understand HAI transmission pathways and strategies to help mitigate the associated risks.

Performance-Based Standards & Healthcare Delivery

Utilising existing and new research data we will advocate for performance-based standards specific to HAI risk mitigation. The key success driver for our research will always be the improved health and wellbeing of patients.
